Jan Kramoliš (1979) received his master’s degree in marketing from the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín (2004). In 2022 he was appointed associate professor at the Faculty of Management and Economics at Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
His publishing activity is primarily mainly focused on Design Management. He is a member of the scientific committees of several international conferences and regularly lectures at foreign universities. His recognized theories include mainly the 1P marketing theory, the marketing communication concept AIDA, the Occam’s Razor approach to visual design evaluation, performance marketing, the Veblen effect, S.M.A.R.T. and the mROI indicator.
In addition to his academic and scientific activities, he has been active in the corporate sphere since the late 1990s, where his specialty is the B2B segment of small and medium-sized companies. In his creative and consulting activities, he specializes in solutions in the field of marketing strategies and design management. He is the author of the DVI algorithm, which was funded by a national grant from TAČR in 2018-2020.
