HR Excellence in Research Award
We are striving to obtain a prestigious award from the European Commission that confirms the quality of the working environment for researchers. Join us in this process.
What is the HR Excellence in Research Award?
The HR Award is a prestigious award from the European Commission that confirms that an institution creates a fair, transparent, and supportive environment for researchers. It is based on the European Charter for Researchers. More information here.
Why are we applying for the award?
At the Faculty of Management and Economics of TBU in Zlín, we want our employees to feel respected, supported, and motivated. For us, the HR Award is not only a symbol of quality, but also a commitment to long-term improvement of the working environment and strengthening our international competitiveness.
Where are we now?
We are currently working on an analysis of the current situation (GAP analysis) and preparing an action plan. We are actively involving employees and students in the process so that their experiences and needs are reflected in specific measures.
Schedule
- Preparation (2025-2026) – analysis of the current situation (GAP analysis), collection of suggestions from employees.
- Submission (2026) – submission of the action plan to the European Commission.
- Implementation (2026–2029) – implementation of measures, regular monitoring.
